This new edition of my journal comes out thanks to a new break in my phd. This break takes place after we got selected for a workshop in the AMD, that we couldn't participate due to bad organization. At the first moment, I didn't want to go. My supervisor wanted to go, but couldn't go because of the bad health condition on that date. So we apologized with the organizer and we will try to get selected for the next workshop. This gives me a certain break. The short paper has certain ingredients to let us think that it was good material. This allows us to think into the next steps. What are the adjustments to be done? what is the work to be adapted?
The short paper has kind of a turn to one direction, where value creation and value capture were the main discussed points. Now, this has to correspond with the rest of the paper. For the preparation of the first version, K added and modified all things that she found necessary. Now, I'm thinking about the topic modeling, the data set, and the configuration of capture value and create value. Also, an additional thought concerning the large paper.
The data set has to be dynamic, including new entrants. and it has to be a panel data. this has to consider changes in the permissions. and consider that value creation is fixed.
Prepare the number of downloads should be ok for apps between May and November. This might give a better aspect to my model.
The topic modeling has to consider the new entrants, getting to all apps a specific type of app functionality. I need to include again the duplicated apps! they are apps with strategy too.
Large paper: modify theory and methods.
1st: prepare nb. downloads (into periods) APRIL - DECEMBER (9 months)
2nd: identify studied apps. with new entrants!
3th. do again topic modeling (with one version of every app)
4th. recreate variable data duality
5th. modify text in the paper
